About

Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Accounting and Business Finance is published by the Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna. It aims to publish high quality, original papers of a theoretical, empirical, or clinical nature that analyze issues related to accounting and finance and economics. IJABF will provide a forum for presenting the views of academics, researchers, practicing managers and other professionals all over the world, on different accounting, finance and economic issues of contemporary relevance.

Topical areas of interest include, but are not limited to: Financial markets, financial institutions, risk analysis, financial policy/structure, payout policies, financial contracts, corporate governance practices, corporate restructuring, the economics of organizations, micro finance, the influence of legal structures, international financial management, disclosure and corporate social responsibility and the accounting and financial aspects of transition economies.


Publication Frequency

International Journal of Accounting and Business Finance publishes two issues a year.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications. Submission and acceptance dates, along with publication dates, are made available on the PDF format for each paper.

Hard Copies

Hard copies can be purchased at a cost of Rs 500 at Deans Office, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna.


Archiving Policy

This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
